Overview

A dental implant is a titanium post placed in the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once it has fused with the bone, a zirconia or porcelain crown is fitted on top — the fixed solution that comes closest to a natural tooth in both appearance and bite.

Treatment begins with a panoramic X-ray and a 3D CT scan of your bone. A single gap is restored with one implant, several missing teeth with an implant bridge, and toothless jaws with fixed full-arch solutions on just a few implants, such as All-on-4 or All-on-6.

For our international guests, treatment is usually completed in two visits: implants and temporary teeth in the first, and your final teeth fitted 3–6 months later in the second. You can follow every stage in your Rebirth Panel.

Single-tooth implant

One implant with a zirconia crown replaces the missing tooth, leaving neighbouring teeth untouched.

All-on-4 / All-on-6

A fixed full-arch restoration on 4 or 6 implants for toothless jaws. In most cases you leave the same week with fixed temporary teeth.

Bone grafting and sinus lift

Where bone volume is insufficient, bone support is added before or during implant placement, and healing time is planned accordingly.

How it works

    Online assessment

    You share any X-rays and photos of your teeth; your dentist prepares a preliminary plan and an estimated timeline.

  2. 2

    Examination and 3D planning

    On your first day in Istanbul a CT scan measures your bone and implant positions are planned digitally.

  3. 3

    Implant placement

    Implants are placed under local anaesthesia — most guests feel only pressure. Temporary teeth are made where needed.

  4. 4

    Healing and integration

    Over the 3–6 months after you fly home, the implants fuse with the bone. Your check-ups continue online in your Rebirth Panel.

  5. 5

    Your final teeth

    On your second visit impressions are taken and your final zirconia or porcelain teeth are tried in and fitted.

Recovery timeline

  1. Days 1–2

    First days

    Mild swelling and tenderness are normal and eased with cold packs and prescribed medication. A soft diet is advised.

  2. Week 1

    Daily life

    Swelling settles and most people are back to daily life within 2–3 days. Any stitches are removed at your check.

  3. Months 1–3

    Integration

    While the implants fuse with the bone you use your temporary teeth and avoid hard or sticky foods.

  4. Months 3–6

    Final teeth

    Your final teeth are fitted on your second visit, restoring a natural bite and smile.

Frequently asked questions

Is implant treatment painful?
Implants are placed under local anaesthesia, and most people feel only pressure during treatment. Mild tenderness for a few days afterwards is easily managed with recommended painkillers, and sedation is available on request.
How many times do I need to travel to Istanbul?
Two visits are enough for most plans: the first for implant placement and the second, 3–6 months later, for your final teeth. Where suitable, immediate loading can shorten the process.
How long do implants last?
With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, implants can last for many years — often a lifetime. The crowns on top may be renewed over time.
Can I have implants if I don't have enough bone?
In most cases, yes. Bone grafting, a sinus lift or angled implants can provide enough support. After your CT scan, your dentist recommends the approach that suits you.
